Computer Science and Engineering department aims to prepare the young engineers by imparting high quality technical education coupled with appropriate training and wide exposure in form of MOUs, linkages, industry oriented programmes, workshops, expert lectures, etc. The department promises to go ahead with the future challenges in technological developments and deliver the bounties of frontier knowledge for the benefit of human kind. The fundamental objective of Computer Science program is to provide the opportunity for students to develop a firm foundation in Mathematics, Science and design methodology of computing systems. Our course covers all fundamentals, working and expert subjects that provide a holistic learning environment where students understand and are able to apply the most contemporary and essential tools needed in the breadth and depth of Computer Science & Engineering.

B. Tech CSE with specialization in Data Science (DS)

 This specialization is a new, exponentially growing field which teaches the students how to combine machine learning techniques, algorithms, tools, business acumen and mathematics and apply on raw data to extract useful information from it. The programme encompasses Data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving oriented subject that teaches how to apply scientific techniques to practical problems. 

Program Specific Outcomes:

PSO1: To provide the basic knowledge of engineering concepts and fundamentals to computerGraduates by logical and practical approach for problem solving and function effectively as a skilled computer engineer and pursue their higher education or emerge as an entrepreneur.

PSO2: To inculcate creative abilities by imparting knowledge and skills to analyze, design, test and implement various software applications.

PSO3: To instill leadership capabilities, social-economic orientation, commitment to one’s profession, professional ethics and community services for the protection of environment.
